Alexis and I met when we were 12 through a mutual friend. At that age we would hang out often and spend a lot of time together around the neighborhood. As time went on we wouldn't see each other as much because we went to different schools. We reconnected again in college when she offered to help me study for a class she hadn't taken and had no knowledge of. I was re-smitten immediately. After this we've been inseparable since. In truth I wanted to propose fairly early on but elected to wait until we graduated from college. I proposed to Alexis on July 13th 2024. I'm pretty sure she said yes but the whole thing is a bit of a blur. I was shaking way more than I thought I would and my eyes started sweating...because it was hot outside.

we've grown a lot in the 4 years we've dated. we've grown in our love for each other as well as in our understanding and appreciation for each other. I've had the privilege to get to know her in a deeper way than I knew possible. Alexis is steadfast, trustworthy, honest, grounded, thoughtful, courageous, and selfless. She has a steady, dense faith that inspires me every day. we are excited to spend the rest of our lives loving each other, learning about each other, and growing together. We are also excited to have you all with us to celebrate this new chapter in our lives.
